Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy TV show. Tarlov is the younger daughter of a family from Manhattan. At the age of 10, Tarlov began her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th year olds who watched the show were extremely impressed. She studied at Paris at NYU Tisch as well as spent the summers of her teenage years at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's in the field of theatre. The Atlantic Theater Company also trained her as she learned to to incorporate writing into her performances during her LAByrinth Theater Masters Class. Molly traded in her black winter jacket in exchange for glasses in black, and then set off for Los Angeles. After a brief period she landed a minor part on iCarly that attracted a lot attention from her family. Molly has been on a variety of shows on television and also created Caitlin in the role of Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly is a fan of thinking she's a basketball pro even though she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
