She boycotted school and made the sign 'School Strike For Climate and calmly was seated outside of the Swedish Parliament. Thunberg believed that this was needed in order to get the attention of politicians to act to reduce the global warming. Swedish media reported Thunbergs decision and her actions spread. Following the strike many students across the globe took part in Thunberg's #FridaysforFuture movement. Students took Friday off in protest against global warming. Climate activists from all over the globe took part in this Global Strike for Climate. The Global Strike for Climate was an incredible achievement. Over 1.6 million people participated from 125 different countries.

Nia Peeples, born Virenia Gwendolyn is a famous American performer and actress. She is known for her portrayal of Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame).
