Arike Ogunbowale
Arike ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was part of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college, before being drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. She was the youngest in her family and her parents took care of her to the max. Gregory his father was a soldier with the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale comes from an active lineage of family members. Her mother Yolanda was a softball coach at DePaul as was her brother Dare used to be an athlete in football. She compiled her high school career with 73 career starts and has a total of 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale managed to take home gold in 2013 the FIBA Americas U16 Championships and the 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17.
